I had a great time with the family last weekend. We celebrated Grandma Bea’s birthday, my birthday, as well as Father’s Day.
Started the day by hopping on the train bright and early
Niagra Falls were a sight to see. Jim got a little gangster on the Maid of the Mist.
I then did a little sight seeing including wander through the casinos and grabbing some Tim Horton’s which is required with any visit to Canada.
Met back up with some of the crew for some mini-golf.
Later that night watched as they filmed a movie that is supposed to take place in New York in downtown Toronto.
The following day we met with the Toronto Transportation Commission. After that it was back to The States for me.
Started the day with a stroll through campus.
Then we briefly toured parliament
Afterwards we took the bus to the Woodbine casino and race track
We all are dinner together in Little Italy and watched a very entertaining awards ceremony
We ended the evening with a little pub hopping. You know you have found the right spot when they serve 40s of OE
The future is here
Went down to city hall to purchase a temporary parking permit in the morning
Then I met up with the class to go to the Rotman School of Business and we competed using their market simulator. I got 3rd.
Afterwards we went on a scavenger hunt and ended up at Jack Astor’s in downtown Toronto
Then we went to the CBC before a debate.
Ended the evening with a bit of wandering and bar hopping.

The dorm in the day time
The train or whatever it is called that we took to RBC in the morning.
We had a very informative meeting with two members of investor relations at RBC and presented them with a commemorative Nevada coin.
They have a great view from up there.
Mike and I did a little wandering for about an hour.
We toured Steam Whistle Brewery. It was a shame watching that guy pour out all of that perfectly good beer.
Walked checked out this cool retro game store on the way back to the dorms.
And ended the day with some 3-3 down the street from the dorms.
You know you aren’t having good luck when you are lost and you drive down a street that forks, but both streets are one way streets going towards you.
My dorm room for the week and the view from it.
A Canadian dinner in China Town.
They need a bar like this in Reno
The tower looks amazing at night
